Where in the World?

Yes it has been quite some time since we have posted a Where in the World photo. This image beautifully frames the vast number of black and orange tori that wind their way through the forest creating a wonderful walkway.

So the task is now in your hands…can you guess where this place is?

Just post your answers in the comments.

Thanks everyone for your guesses. Congratulations to everyone who guessed Fushimi Inari, Kyoto – Japan. This heritage site has some 40,000 tori stretching for kilometers up the mountain. To my surprise though you still see vending machines along the way :)
